Parent Teacher Interviews (Kinder - Year 6)

Parent teacher Interviews will begin on Monday 29 June. Please be reminded to follow the strict guidelines that have been implemented to maintain everyone’s safety. As communicated last week no children or younger siblings will be allowed on site and parents will be asked to not turn up to the interviews more than 5 mins before.

I thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation.

Students Who are Unwell

In this unprecedented time of new guidelines and restrictions there have been a heightened awareness of keeping everyone safe and healthy. In line with this if your child is unwell and stays home OR is sent home from school unwell, parents are required to obtain a medical certificate that specifically states that your child is fit to return to school. Please note this is not necessarily connected to Covid, this is not about being Covid negative it is clearance that your child is no longer exhibiting flu like symptoms. We understand this presents complexities and challenges for all families, we appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

School Attendance

It is important that all students are attending school when fit and well. It is a legislative and moral obligation that children attend school. Please refrain from keeping children home for birthdays and avoid medical appointments during the school day.

It is expected that children arrive to school on time, recently there has been an increase in students arriving late. Please ensure that you allow time in the mornings to have children ready and at school before 9am.

Playground Works

In the holidays there is planned to have significant electrical work conducted that will involve the digging up of the concrete in the main playground. The work will not impact the return to school. In addition the basketball court was scheduled to be replaced, however there has been a delay in the delivery of the synthetic turf. The pre-work will still be completed in the school holidays and the turf laid over a weekend. Again this should not impact the return to school.
