Andrew and Ken are away....

On 26 April, Ken has to attend the Conference of the Canon Law Society of Great Britain and Ireland.  The Conference will be held in Galway Bay, Ireland.  Ken will return on Friday, 12 May.  During that time Peter Clifford ofm will be looking after the Parish.  Peter is currently stationed at Paddington and will be living at Thirroul from 26 April to 12 May.  Welcome, Peter!  During that time, no liturgies will be “televised”.

On 4 May, Andrew will be travelling to Scotland to complete a sabbatical program, after which he will travel to Poland to visit members of his family.  He will return to Thirroul on 13 August to celebrate his 50^th Anniversary as a friar priest on Saturday, 26 August.

Homeless Dog:  Ken will be teaching at Baulkham Hills 21 May to 2 June, however, he will be back at Thirroul for the weekend 27/28 May.  The Tuesday liturgies on 23 and 30 June will not be “televised”.  Bailey is looking for a home at which to stay from 21 May to 2 June – if you can help – Bailey brings his own food and bed! – please contact Ken through the Parish Office.

Sacrament of Confirmation – Enrolments  Close on 15 May.

Confirmation, one of the three Sacraments of Initiation, is celebrated in our Diocese for Year 6 students or older.  Details of Confirmation this year, including an Enrolment Form, are on our Parish website:  thirroulcatholic.org.au Click on Sacraments (on the left-hand side), then on Confirmation.  Enrolments close on Monday, 15 May.
