Thank you so much for the warm welcome, it has been a real privilege working at St Michael's for the past few weeks and I look forward to being here until the end of term. I have been a principal for over 20 years in a number of our Catholic Schools but St Michael's is one of my favorites. Delightful, respectful and inquisitive students,  an extremely dedicated and committed staff and a passionate and visionary Principal and Leadership Team.  I love being here!

I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate you and the staff on your children's well developed academic, social and emotional skills, they are indeed  very special and quite unique. Faith formation and learning gains are the focus of your school where every child is given the opportunity to reach their full potential. Perhaps during parent teacher interviews you could thank our teachers for their commitment by always striving to do the best they can for your child.

The staff are currently engaged in planning for their team faith journey for the next 3 years. Spiritual Formation is an invitation offered, with an awareness and respect for the sacredness of the story already there.The program being implemented makes sense of ones personal reality, which involves reflection, openness and above all listening. Listening is at the heart of spiritual Formation, for listening creates an awareness of mystery ans opens us to a relationship with God and others.

In addition the program will build an awareness and understanding of our rich Catholic Tradition, which is at the heart of daily practice at St Michaels.
