Dear Parents and Carers,

Staffing update

At St Michaels’, we are continuing to build our staffing model to ensure we have the resources to adequately support all student learning and wellbeing needs across the school. In 2025, we have already employed three additional learning and wellbeing support teachers to provide tailored learning experiences for identified students. I am pleased to announce that we have been supported by the Diocese with additional funding to employ an additional teacher that will join our growing diverse learning team. I would like to welcome Mrs Aimee Griggs to our wonderful school community. Aimee brings a wealth of experience and will be a welcome addition to our school community. Aimee will predominantly support targeted learning and wellbeing needs in Years 1-3 and work on Tuesdays, Wednesday and Thursdays.

P&F AGM and GM

On Monday 10 March we will be holding our Annual General Meeting and General Meeting. As a part of this meeting we will be electing our P&F team for 2025. The P&F plays a critical role in supporting us in building a connected school community and ensuring our additional funding is targeted to the needs present within the school. There are some exciting plans in the pipeline that were shared with the parent community in the term 4 meeting. We look forward to seeing many parents join us for this initial meeting.
